PROGRESS HAS BEEN MADE

I just hung up the phone with Sasha. Good news. The passport office has the information and it is correct. They just received the information a half hour ago and haven't printed the passport yet. It is possible they will print it today but probably not until tomorrow. It is possible if they print it today it can be overnighted today but probably not until tomorrow. It is possible if they overnight it tomorrow that it will arrive Saturday rather than Monday. If so I should be able to pick it up Saturday. Then I would be able to do the medical and visa on Monday and leave Tuesday. If not, then Wednesday should be the latest. I don't mean to be impatient but please pray for Tuesday.

I will post more about the date and flight time.

I have a couple of pictures to post finally. I haven't actually felt like taking a lot of pictures and we haven't been doing much to take many pictures. Jacob is eating his usual, french fries. He was so cute tonight. He drinks so fast that he gets a little choked and I pat him on the back. Well, tonight at , you guessed it, McDonald's he got a little choked and was trying to pat himself on the back.

Please keep praying for Beth. They still need the ID number entered so she can get the passports for Alex and Anna.
I can finally say see you all SOON. We love and miss you and appreciate all the prayers.

God Bless,

Teresa & Jacob

So glad you finally got some good news. We will keep praying until you are on the ground in the US. I know you will have lots of company when you first get home so once you get settled in call (the number is still the same) the girls have been watching the blog with me and want to bring you and Jacob a welcome home gift.

You are in our prayers,

Christina and the girls.

Praise God for some good news finally. I will pray that there are no roadblocks in anyway in your passport and your medical and visa paperwork. Jacob is adorable in the pictures and he looks so happy with sparkle in his eyes. Keep your eyes looking up and soon you will be home as a family together again.

HI Teresa & Jacob

It was so good talking with you again. I am so glad you have gotten some positive information. We are seeing prayers answered. THANK YOU LORD FOR TAKING CARE OF TERESA AND JACOB. I pray you have been lifted up today. I believe it’s all going to fall together and you and Jacob will be home soon. I know we should wait patiently for our prayers to be answered. But sometimes it is hard to. Maybe it will be only 5 or 6 more days and we shall see you two. We will be so glad when you get home!!!!!!!!!!

WE LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH AND MISS YOU!!!!!!

You are still in our prayers
Tammy

PRAISE GOD FROM WHOM ALL BLESSINGS FLOW!!! He is truly a great God! It is about time they got their stuff together and get Jacob's passport so you can get out of there. They have had you long enough. Like Tammy said, it is sooooo very hard to wait. We want it to happen when we want it to. As we have talked - we know there is a purpose for everything that has happened. We may not see what it is right now but there is a reason. We are just so ready for you to be back.
Jacob's pics are so good. He is such a big boy sitting in the big chair. We can't wait to get to know him - we already love him. We have a box of goodies that we think that he will enjoy playing with when he gets home. I went shopping for Breanna some school clothes at the VF and found the cutest outfits for Jacob. And of course I couldn't resist and had to get him some. I can't wait for you to see them. They will be so cute on him.
We can't wait to see you and give you a big long awaited hug.
Keep up the good spitits - you are a trooper and I am so proud of the strenghth you have shown on your journey you have been on.
I send you much love and God's blessings! Our prayers and still with you!
Love you,
Becca and Breanna

We are so thankful for the good news!!! We are praying that it is sooner. I know it has been so hard being in limbo and not knowing for sure. I hope you have felt all our prayers and our love and we can't wait for you two to be home. I noticed that Becca said she had been to VF shopping, so have I, so you may have some returns, we may have picked the same things. I will leave the tags on to be sure. I know I'm being a little long, but I want to leave the words to this hymn with you---I don't know about tomorrow, I just live from day to day, I don't borrow from it's sunshine, for it's skies may turn to gray. I don't worry o'er the future, for I know what Jesus said, and today I'll walk beside Him, for He knows what is ahead. Many things about tomorrow I don't seem to understand, but I KNOW WHO HOLDS TOMORROW, AND I KNOW WHO HOLDS MY HAND!!!
We Love you all!!!

James, Teresa & Jacob.....

I just wanted to let u know the people of chilton county are still praying for your speedy and safe return..
i was listening to one of my cd's yesterday on my way home from work, and the song "the anchor holds" came on. It made me think of yall, so i had to leave a comment. I know the LORD has HIS hands on the Sims family. We may never know why all this is happening except it is giving you and Jacob some special "Mommy and son" bonding time. I will tell you that it will be a world wind when yall get home with Jacob learning his family, and the family learing what he is saying.
I can tell u that we are learning as much russian as Jordan is learning english.

As always, praying for the whole new Sims family....

We are counting down the days. Kelsey has been looking at the pictures with me and she is excited to have Jacob at Ms. Bobbie's with her. I tried to explain that he speaks Russian, not English and she told David she was going to help Jacob learn Spanish. That should be interesting. We are still working on her English, we haven't progressed to another language yet. We hope you have a great weekend. Love you all!
