8 DAYS LEFT

I didn't get a chance to type up the blog before we came to the Internet Cafe so this will be short. We went to eat a new restaurant (new to us) in Sevastopol about an 1 hr and a half away. Matt and Tammy took us. The place was called the Potato House and it was on the Black Sea. The atmosphere was great. It was wonderful spending time with Matt and Tammy.

We are going to some Cave City on Wednesday with Matt and Tammy. We are looking forward to this. We are in desperate need of something different to do. Andrew will be back Thursday and then we will be in a whirlwind of different things to do. We are also looking forward to that too. It means we are closer to coming home.

We've had some more good visits with Jacob. I think he is also already for something different. We manage to get about an hour and half visit each day before he starts to get fussy. The picture is of Jacob after HE has put on his sunglasses.

I know some of you are reading the other blogs we have links to and probably know there have been issues with the passports. Please pray that everything will go smooth when we go to get Jacob's passport and visa.

God Bless You All!!!!

Love,

JTJ

The countdown is getting closer and closer. We are praying that everything goes smoothly with all the paperwork the final few days.
I have been keeping up with all the others. It is unbelievable some the things they have been though. Praying that ya'll and everyone will have a lot smoother exit from the ukraine.
Thanks for sharing everything I am sure it will be very helpful for others that may embark on this journey in the future.
Just read an update on Jordan. Sounds like He is adjusting to his new home very well.
God Bless

Matthew would say "cool
daddy" when he sees Jacob
with his sunglasses on.
Jacob is almost always
smiling in the pic, its
hard to imagine he has a
tantrum every now and then.
Just about all kids do thou
gh. We're praying for the
passport to be ok, after
we read Lauri's blog.
LOVE YOU ALL Nana

Hey there, greetings from the SOUTH!! We are back in Atlanta and can't wait until you can be home on solid ground as well!! We will be praying for the passport situation. Gos is in control. You know we ate at the Potato House EVERY DAY we were in Zap. Sometimes twice a day. Noone spoke English there, but we ate there so much, they knew our order before we even gave it. Glad you got to experience it before you left!! The days will fly by. The days in Kiev are a whirlwind. Not only are you having to adjust to having your son live with you for the first time, there is still a lot of steps to take. So get as much rest as you can before you pick him up from the orphanage! Use this time to sleep and fill your storage tanks!! Have lots of fun with your little boy in between your naps!
We want to call you on SKYPE. How can we do that. What time would be good for you??
Cant wait to see you on American soil!!
Blessings, - lauri

Okay, I hope you know I meant to write GOD is in control, not Gos. Don't know who Gos is. And I'm sure he is not in control. :) But God is and I know He will see you through this!! Hang on!

One last thing, I'm trying to post on the Stout's BLOG. Have you been able to do this? If so, please let me know how to do it. I can't figure it out. Their little boy is so cute. Looks so much like both of them. So glad everything worked out for them, finally. Just think how far you have come since June 4th! Haley LOVES the track suit you gave her. It's only 18 mo. and too small, but she squeezes into it every day b/c she thinks it means she can go for a walk if she has that suit on!! So cute. Thanks again for all the great things you sent her while we were in Zap. She wore the pink 2 piece home on the plane, but then spilled a drink on it and we had to change into a dress. She was not happy to take off the pink bottoms. :) Girls!! We are crazy about our clothing! Even at 2.5, even coming from an orphanage.

Blessings, lauri
